How I am groomed

Believe it or not, mom and dad has never taken me to get professionally groomed. Since I was a pup, they have taught themselves how to groom me. Little by little and day by day they learned to trim, cut, and shave the underside of my paws. Grooming is so very important to good health and hygiene. Please do not under any circumstance groom your own dog without proper training. It took my parents weeks worth of training.

This is what my parents use to groom me!

These are the scissors and thinning shears that they use:

Gimars 4CR Stainless Steel Safety Round Tip Pet Grooming Scissor, Heavy Duty Titanium Coated Pet Grooming Scissor for Dogs, Cats and Other Animals (4 scissors set)

Here is my favorite detangler comb:

And this is the brush that mom uses on me daily to keep me nice and fluffy!

For my body, my parents use 12mm clipper guard. My legs are hand cut with scissors and thinning shears. My face, head, and ears are all cut by hand and finished with thinning shears.

  • I am fairly new to TicTok (old woman). You are the best I have seen and check you out daily. Your clothes, accessories and glasses are awesome! Your Mom and Dad are so smart to put you in an office. And, sooo accurate! Love it all! I have Shih Tzus and have tried grooming. I am not very good at it. I lost my Baby of 13 years and at the point of wanting a puppy. May try a Maltipoo because you are just so darn cute. Impressed by all the commands you know. Any special advice on books to read or videos to help train a little one? Thanks.

  • Hi Noods! Love your page and have been following for years. This video is helping me take my first attempt at grooming our beloved Caleb! Quick question: how do you clip her nails and do you use a drummel tool you recommend?
